London – Turner Prize 14/10/16

Overall I found it disjointed and jarring. Michael Dean’s installation, his sculptural objects were physically empowering and moving, however with the other artists I couldn’t find the same appreciation.

Helen Marten’s works were as a collection strong and clear. Eventually I could see beyond the household objects used in sculpture and see them as they were, as interesting forms.

But none of the artists moved or excited anything especially within me. Nothing moved me deeply, but instead left me a little dissatisfied and empty.
